"I don't watch the debates. I think they're boring," Trump told Fox News Digital. "I don't find them to be watchable. I think they're very boring."
Trump's comments come as he is facing a growing field of Republican challengers in the 2024 presidential race. Several of his rivals, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence, are expected to participate in the upcoming Republican National Committee debates.
Trump has been critical of the RNC debates in the past, calling them a "waste of time." He has also said that he believes he is the only candidate who can win the Republican nomination and defeat President Joe Biden in the general election.
Trump's comments are likely to further divide the Republican Party, which is already deeply divided over his candidacy. Some Republicans believe that Trump is the only candidate who can win the general election, while others believe that he is too divisive and that his candidacy will hurt the party.
The Republican National Committee has not yet announced the dates or locations of the 2024 Republican presidential primary debates. However, the debates are expected to be held in the first half of 2024.
